The new landscape for creators
A panel moderated by Webster Colcord.
While the old paradigms for commercial animation and film distribution have faded away, new venues/platforms have opened up. Instagram, Tik Tok, Gify, Twitch, projection mapped installations, entertainment in virtual space, micro films, Social Media co-opted to promote traditional media, crowd funding/digital patronage – it’s all happening. Animation is everywhere, but are artists surviving? Hear working creators talk about how they’re navigating this new landscape.
